Important: We are a travel agency, not a visa service or a government body. Apply only on the official Government of India website, indianvisaonline.gov.in. Other sites that look official may charge extra fees. Rules can change - always check the official portal before you apply.
Who is it for?
The e-Tourist Visa is for visits whose main purpose is tourism, sightseeing or visiting friends and relatives, plus some other permitted short activities listed on the official portal. If you already hold an OCI card, you do not need a visa.
Validity options
- 30 days from the date of first arrival
- 1 year from the date the e-Visa is granted
- 5 years from the date the e-Visa is granted
For the 1-year and 5-year options, the official portal states that your stay in India should not exceed 180 days in one calendar year.
When to apply
According to the official portal, you can apply from 120 days before your arrival date, and at least 4 days before arrival. Applying early is safer, especially in peak travel seasons.
Passport requirements
- At least six months' validity at the time you apply
- At least two blank pages for immigration stamps
Where you can arrive
e-Tourist Visa holders must enter through one of the designated airports or seaports listed on the official portal. Major international airports such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru are included. Check the current list if you are flying into a smaller city.
How we help
Once your visa is sorted, we book flights that arrive at an e-Visa-approved airport and match your visa dates. Tell us your plans and we will send options with the total price.
